For many years the DORNER GmbH & Co. KG has been a market leader for highly productive IT-Systems, which optimize processes for German clinics and laboratories (LIMS/LIS). Karl-Eugen Dorner founded the company in 1982 in Southern Baden-Württemberg, in the so-called „Markgräflerland.“ From the very beginning, the company has been focused on developing software solutions for medical laboratories. Today, DORNER is still family-owned. Both of the founder’s sons are working in the company in the development and project management areas. The first IT-systems were developed in 1984 in cooperation with the University of Freiburg, and through constant updates they continue to be state-of-the-art systems today.
The following fact is as valid today as it was almost 30 years ago: Wherever data is being generated, managed, prepared, and communicated in the health care sector, this is our domain. Our solutions combine innovation with efficiency and experience and are developed for laboratories, clinics, and all participants in health care provision.
